What I do

Six engagements that cover the paper trail inspectors actually read.

Each engagement is scoped, priced and scheduled around your inspection timeline. Pick one, or combine a few into a mini compliance sprint.

CQC Compliance Support

Map your service against the five CQC Key Lines of Enquiry and flag gaps before an inspector does. Clear action list in plain English, not jargon.

  • Full KLOE gap analysis, RAG-rated
  • Inspection-ready evidence folder structure
  • 30-day remedial action plan with owners

Safeguarding Audits

Independent review of safeguarding systems, referrals, and staff competency. I check what happens on the floor against what's written in policies.

  • Case file sampling and thematic review
  • DoLS, MCA and Section 42 referral audit
  • Written report with safeguarding lead recommendations

Person-Centred Care Planning

Care plans that reflect the resident, not a template. Rebuilt or refreshed care documentation that stands up to scrutiny and actually guides carers.

  • Full care plan rewrite for up to 20 residents
  • Risk assessments aligned to current clinical need
  • Staff briefing pack so changes stick

Incident & Serious Event Reports

Clear, defensible incident reporting that satisfies CQC, local authority and coroner requirements. Proper investigation, written up without exposing the service.

  • Root cause analysis using recognised frameworks
  • Statutory notifications (CQC, LA, RIDDOR) drafted
  • Lessons-learned summary for team meetings

Policy & Procedure Writing

Bespoke policies written for your service, your residents, and current regulations. No recycled templates bought from a dusty library.

  • Core policy suite (clinical, safeguarding, HR-adjacent)
  • Version control and review schedule
  • Staff acknowledgement tracker

Documentation Review

A second pair of qualified eyes on MAR charts, daily notes, body maps and repositioning records. I tell you what's missing before the regulator does.

  • Sampled clinical record audit
  • Medicines management compliance check
  • One-page summary for your registered manager

Hello, I'm the founder of SKYNETLABS Clinic. I'm a UK Clinical Lead Nurse, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC PIN on request), with over a decade of hands-on experience across residential care, nursing homes and complex-needs units.

I've led teams through CQC inspections, written the policies I later had to defend, and sat across the table from safeguarding boards. That floor-level experience is what I bring to every consultancy engagement.

Most compliance problems I see aren't caused by bad intent. They're caused by busy managers, thin documentation, and policies nobody reads. My job is to translate the regulations into something your team can actually follow on a Tuesday night shift.

I work with care home operators, nursing agencies and domiciliary providers across England, Scotland and Wales. Engagements are confidential, practical, and structured around your inspection timeline.

What clients say

Real outcomes,
from real care providers.

We engaged SKYNETLABS Clinic six weeks before our CQC inspection and the difference was night and day. She rewrote our care plans, cleaned up our MAR charts and briefed every shift leader personally. We moved from Requires Improvement to Good on the first re-inspection, and the feedback on documentation was genuinely glowing.
